Zest_Interface_RS485_Isolated

Overview

The Zest_Interface_RS485_Isolated is an electronics development board for 6TRON open source platform based on MAX14859 transceiver from Maxim.

The MAX14859 is a full-duplex RS485 differential bus transceiver with 2 Drivers and 2 Receiver. It provides a galvanic isolation between the cable-side RS-485 and the UART-side of the device.

The board operates from a single 3.3V supply and features an on-board isolated power supply to power the secondary side of the circuit.

The Zest_Interface_RS485_Isolated offers 6TRON users a galvanically isolated RS485 interface to devices, systems and sensors communicating with low power over a long distance.
