Zest_Radio_WiFi

Overview

The Zest_Radio_WiFi is an electronics development board for 6TRON open source platform built around the NINA-W132 WiFi module from U-BOX.

The NINA-W132 integrates the following elements:

  • A stand-alone wireless module that integrates a powerful microcontroller (MCU) and a radio for wireless communication

  • Can transmit up to 18dBm and receive with a sensitivity of -88dBm

  • An internal PIFA antenna.

The board features a RGB diode, which is used to display the connection status:

  • Data mode - IDLE - Green
  • Command mode - IDLE - Orange
  • Data/Command mode - CONNECTING - Purple
  • Data/Command mode - CONNECTED - Blue

The Zest_Radio_WiFi board offers 6TRON users a standalone WiFi connectivity for any type of WiFi networks, building, medical and industrial equipment networking, and other applications that require wireless network access.
