Z_Beacon
Overview
The Z_Beacon is an electronics development board for 6TRON IoT open source platform based on the nRF52811-QCAA SoC from Nordic Semiconductor.
The nRF52811-QCAA is built around a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 CPU unit running at 64MHz, with 192kB of Flash memory and 24kB of SRAM memory. The SoC integrates a 2.4GHz RF transceiver that supports fully different protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The board also includes an IMU, an accelerometer and an ambient sensor that can each be activated or deactivated depending on the application.
Associated to a high capacity CR2450 primary lithium battery, and running an optimized program, the Z_Beacon board proposes a long shelf and operation lifespan of over 3 years.
The Z_Beacon board offers 6TRON users a Beacon Object able to measure various parameters (Acceleration, hygrometry, temperature, pressure) and transmit the data through a BLE Link at regular time intervals with a very low power requirement.
